The house of the Quinta de Vale Mourelos is located in the south bank of the river Tejo, in the area of Caparica - this designation, according to the legend, comes from the find of a cloak ("Capa") full of gold coins ("Rica"=Rich) - between the city and the countryside, right next to the beaches and golf fields of "Costa Azul".
