		Solar das Arcas This Solar, situated in Arcas near Bragança, is a magnificent example of a house built in the 17th and 18th centuries. It belongs to the Pessanha family, descendents of a Portuguese teacher who specialised in navigation, during the period of D. Dinis (Manuel Pessanha). Within the house, particularly the chapel, there is a traditional welcoming atmosphere. An interesting attraction for the guests her is the opportunity to do some traditional farming and the option to use the hunting area. Also one can try the delicious gastronomy of the Trás-os-Montes Region.
