Paço D'Anha
Paço D'Anha is a fine example of 16th century Portuguese architecture. Many superb pieces of antique furniture and family heirlooms can be found here. The name 'Paço' was given after the king D. António Prior de Crato hid here in 1580, when persecuted by Spanish soldiers. Absolute privacy and tranquility is afforded by these apartments, housed in the renovated outhouses. One may visit the vineyards and cellars and sample the renowned Vinho Verde.
