Quinta do Baganheiro, 1 17th century manor built by the Knights of Malta, bears witness to a somewhat tumultuos history, having been the vivtim of several attacks during the French invasions. Throughout the generations, Baganheiro has lost and regained land, but has always remained within the same family. This eminent manor house affords a stunning view over the Lima Valley, and is surrounded by the succulent greenery of vineyards, orchards and chestnut trees.
