Paço de Calheiros has a most impressive entrance with its distinguished gateway, beautiful tree-lined drive and stone fountain. Guests are made to feel very welcome by the Count of Calheiros, who will proudly show you his 17th century family home. This mansion is an imposing building with a tastefully decorated interior, embracing many antique pieces. A magnificent view of the Lima valley can be seen from the tranquil gardens.
