Casa do Outeiro
The peaceful ambience of this 16th century house was disrupted in 1809, when it was invaded by French soldiers and used as their headquarters. It has since regained its composure, surrounded by a leafy garden and woods. Its vast 16th century fireplace in the kitchen with its majestic stone pillars, is a beautiful souvenir from years ago. Alongside Outeiro is an enchanting stone aqueduct covered in ivy, which can be viewed from veranda.
