Casa de Canedo

The Casa de Canedo, better known locally as the Casa do Barreiro, is a country manor house build in the 17th century, which was and still is the focus of an agricultural and forestry operations that extends over approximately 90 acres. Located in a peaceful valley of the Basto region, an area famous for its beautiful countryside and its wines, it looks out on the mountains of the Serra do Marão which rise up on the other side of the Tâmega river to the high peak of Senhora da Graça.
